Farrier and Vet
Included with board are the scheduling and holding services for routine farrier trims and twice yearly vaccinations, when the “Barn Farrier/Vet” is utilized. The cost of the services provided are billed directly to the owner from the farrier and veterinarian.

Add-On’s

Graining/Supplementation– $60/month
If your horse requires daily supplementation or medication, we will feed them Monday through Friday. Supplements/grain/medications are provided by the owner.  (This fee does not apply to dry lot, semi-private or private paddocks.  Feeding is included in those options.)

Draft Horse Fee– $75/month
Due to the higher volume of hay and general wear and tear on the facility, we do charge an additional fee for any drafts, “draft types” and some larger warmbloods. The decision on this is based on the body habitus of the horse, not the breed alone.

Vet/Farrier Handling–  $25/each non-routine visit:  We will hold your horse for these services and field questions.  You will receive the summary of the visit later that evening. Holds will be tracked and added to your monthly bill.

Medication or Treatments– $15/application:  If your horse is injured and needs ointments applied or bandages redone daily, we can help.  Treatments will be tracked and added to your monthly bill.
